Polestar Management Group (PMG) offers personalized financial management services to high net worth individuals and businesses owners on an as needed basis.  PMG provides individuals and businesses with access to higher-level financial and operational expertise without the high costs of a full-time, experienced CFO. PMG tailors it’s programs to your needs whether that is a 1-day per month engagement, a more involved program that is two or three days per week or a one-time special project.

PMG works with your existing advisors and provides a concierge service to insure your financial and strategic plans are well integrated.  If you need assistance in identifying suitable advisors PMG has a strong network of professional contacts in banking, private equity, accounting, legal, insurance and human resources.  PMG acts as your trusted advisor across multiple platforms.

PMG is directed by John Doerer, a financial and operating professional with over 25 years of experience.  John earned his BBA in Business Economics from the Michigan Ross School of Business and his MBA in Finance and Accounting from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.  John has significant experience in the COO/CFO role of privately held companies in the manufacturing, technology and service fields.  John has a broad range of experience helping individuals evaluate everything from operating company investments to the underlying securities of hedge funds.
